Overview 

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Associate Director of International Tax to be a key partner in global tax planning, compliance, and reporting across our multinational operations. This role will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, ensuring alignment of tax strategies with business objectives while maintaining compliance with evolving international tax regulations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cross-border taxation and global tax structuring, along with strong leadership and partnership skills.

This is a hybrid position and will be primarily located in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global tax strategy and planning to optimize effective tax rate and cash tax position
  • Provide technical expertise on U.S. international tax matters (GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT, OECD Pillar Two)
  • Support M&A, restructurings, and global expansion through tax planning and modeling
  • Ensure accurate reporting, including CFC filings, Forms 5471/8858, and country-by-country reporting
  • Develop and maintain tax models to forecast effective tax rates, cash taxes, and impacts of structural or legislative changes
  • Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Identify and manage global tax risks, maintain internal controls, and support audits and tax authority inquiries
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and executive leadership to support business initiatives and market expansion
  • Support global transfer pricing strategy, including policies, intercompany agreements, and audit defense
  • Lead external advisor relationships, drive process improvements, and leverage technology to scale tax operations
  • Support international tax compliance and global tax provision (ASC 740 / IFRS), partnering with internal teams and external advisors, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master’s in Tax preferred)
  • 8-10+ years of international tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational organization
  • Deep expertise in U.S. international tax (GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT) and familiarity with OECD Pillar Two
  • Experience with tax provision (ASC 740), global compliance, and reporting processes, preferred
  • Proven ability to build and leverage tax models for forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Experience with OECD Pillar Two implementation preferred
  • Experience operating in a publicly traded or high-growth environment preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP and tax technology tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneSource) preferred
  • CPA, JD, MST, or equivalent certification preferred

 

U.S. Pay Range

$170,000.00 - $230,000.00

The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
