Overview

 

We are seeking an experienced Associate Medical Director to join our dynamic team in the United States. This pivotal role will support the strategy and execution of comprehensive medical plans in the US, with focus on the TTR space. The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of plans through various channels, including our field medical team and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to advance patient care and support healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and management of TTR.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Sr. Medical Director US TTR Lead and in close collaboration with US TTR Medical Directors the US Associate Medical Director, TTR will:

  • Participate in stratagic planning and support the development and management of project plans including leading coordination amongst matrix teams.
  • Support the execution of strategic plans through various channels, including though the field medical organization, facilitating knowledge exchange and supporting healthcare professionals.
  • Closely partner with training to support optimized field use, communication of materials and messages.
  • Support coordinated multi-channel pull-though and communication of educational materials and scientific messages across channels (field, CME, digital, congress, etc.).
  • Support key aspects of US national and regional congress planning and execution related to medical engagement activites.
  • Support key aspects of coordination of US stakeholder engagement including HCP advisory boards, structured insights, COE and professional medical association engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and professional guidelines in the conduct of medical affairs activities.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) with strong preference for candidates with specialization or experience in cardiology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the cardiology therapeutic area, with preferred experience in the TTR Cardiomyopathy space.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including experience in field medical roles and strategy development.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute medical strategies and effectively communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a field medical team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and US regulatory environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
