Intern, Analytical Development

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting HPLC method development within Analytical Development at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities will include the development or improvement of new or existing analytical assays as well as their qualification. The candidate will be expected to help drive initiatives to enhance the technical capabilities of the group while maintaining good understanding of regulatory guidelines. Experience in HPLC is a plus. Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Learning Outcomes

1. Hands on experience with HPLC or other instruments for purity and impurity analysis

2. HPLC method techniques

3. Experimental design and troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in chemistry or a related field at an accredited university or college
• Strong laboratory skills and familiarity with analytical chemistry techniques such as HPLC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail and collaborative teamwork
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age prior to scheduled start date

U.S. Pay Range

$23-$25/hr

The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
