Overview:

The Manager, TTR Patient Marketing will play a key role on a fast-paced, highly collaborative team supporting the success of the US TTR franchise. The TTR marketing team is responsible for driving an industry-leading franchise with responsibilities across AMVUTTRA® (vutrisiran) and ONPATTRO® (patisiran) branded marketing, disease state awareness campaigns, and the Alnylam Assist Patient Support Program.

 

This individual will contribute to the development and execution of patient marketing strategies, tactics, and messaging that align with the overall TTR franchise strategy and resonate with patients, caregivers, and patient advocacy organizations. A critical component of this role will be supporting the execution of the Patient Engagement Strategy, specifically as it relates to the evolution and optimization of Alnylam Assist and Patient Services operations, ensuring that patient-facing resources and experiences effectively support patients throughout their treatment journey.

 

The Manager will work closely with US TTR Marketing leadership, Patient Services, and key cross-functional partners to develop and deliver impactful patient marketing programs. This individual will help translate strategic priorities into tactical execution across branded campaigns, disease awareness initiatives, and patient support materials to enhance the overall patient experience and support improved outcomes for patients living with ATTR-CM and hATTR-PN.

 

The position reports to the Director, TTR Patient Marketing.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of patient marketing strategies and tactics across AMVUTTRA branded campaigns, disease state awareness initiatives, and the Alnylam Assist patient support program.
  • Play a key role in executing the Patient Engagement Strategy, with particular focus on supporting updates and enhancements to Alnylam Assist and Patient Services operations to improve the patient experience.
  • Lead the development and ongoing management of Alnylam Assist patient-facing materials, including the website, brochures, and educational resources.
  • Partner closely with Patient Services leadership to manage, evolve, and optimize patient support marketing materials and communications across patient touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and patient stakeholders to ensure materials are educational, empowering, and aligned with brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Effectively manage and maintain relationships with agency partners and external vendors to support program execution.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree (science or business advanced degree preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with rare disease/oncology/injectable experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, prioritization, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive business results.

U.S. Pay Range

$124,200.00 - $168,000.00

The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
