Overview

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Scientist in Delivery Biology to support and advance targeted delivery strategies for siRNA–based therapeutics. This role will focus on mechanistic cell biology to improve specific delivery across tissues and cell types. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of cell biology with an expertise in vesicular trafficking. Experience in the field of antibody or other ligand oligonucleotide conjugates is a plus. The individual will need excellent collaboration and communication skills to work collaboratively across the research department.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and apply assays and experimental strategies to interrogate trafficking biology
  • Design, execute, and interpret cell‑based assays to evaluate delivery efficiency and biological outcomes
  • Identify cell types or tissues that require novel or optimized delivery approaches
  • Collaborate extensively with cross‑functional partners focused on expanding targeted delivery into new cell types and tissues.
  • Transparently communicate data, conclusions, and experimental rationale to team members and leadership
  • Mentor and support the scientific development of junior scientists or research associates

 

Qualifications

 

  • PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in biophparma setting.
  • Strong expertise in cell biology, particularly intracellular trafficking, receptor biology, or related mechanisms.
  • Experience in microscopy and biochemical techniques related to cell-based studies
  • Experience designing and interpreting both in vitro and in vivo experiments
  • Experience with ligand-based delivery, conjugates or receptor biology preferred.
  • Demonstrated scientific rigor, attendtion to detail and data reproducibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

U.S. Pay Range

$126,400.00 - $189,600.00

The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
