Overview
Join our innovative RNAi Platform team, committed to pioneering delivery breakthroughs leading to multiple RNAi-based therapeutics. We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Senior Scientist with a strong academic foundation in immunology and proven industry experience in drug discovery for immune-related diseases. This is a lab-based role in which you will lead critical efforts in utilizing immunology techniques to unlock delivery to immune cells to advance of next-generation immunomodulatory therapies targeting unmet clinical needs.
This position is onsite and will be primarily located in Cambridge, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead advanced in vitro and ex vivo immune assay platforms.
- Develop and optimize in vivo immune-related murine disease models.
- Integrate and interpret multi-parametric flow cytometry data.
- Collaborate with platform teams, early development groups, and external CROs to support cross-functional research objectives.
- Present scientific findings at internal governance meetings, contribute to external publications, and support IND-enabling research.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline, with a focus on immune-related disease mechanisms.
- A total of 3–6 years of relevant experience in translational immunology and cell biology, including academic postdoctoral training and preferably 2+ years of industry experience.
- Strong expertise in adaptive immunology, murine disease models, and immune-mediated tissue damage.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals in cell biology, immunology, or translational research.
- Proven expertise in:
- Primary immune cell culture
- Flow cytometry (high-parameter analysis, cell sorting)
- Biomarker assays (ELISA, MSD, cytokine profiling)
- qPCR, IHC, scRNA-seq, and bioinformatics pipelines (R, IPA)
- Direct experience with oligonucleotide-based therapeutics is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute, and interpret complex biological experiment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively in both written and oral formats, and to work productively across multidisciplinary teams.
U.S. Pay Range
$127,300.00 - $179,500.00
The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
