Overview
The Commercial Operations Manager will support the Commercial team by optimizing processes, analyzing data, and ensuring smooth operations. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Operations and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance sales efficiency and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct CRM analytics to deliver actionable insights into sales performance and customer interactions
- Generate Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) reports and create dashboards to support strategic decision-making and monitor market trends
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Monitor SFE key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely follow-ups and maintain progress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes to improve productivity
- Work with international team to manage and optimize the CRM tools, support IC tracking (eg MBOs) & Account Plan implementation to maximize customer relationships and drive sales growth
- Support Senior Manager, Business Operations to implement HCP Targeting & Segmentation into CRM
- Perform data quality checks and system adjustments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Prepare monthly local and international reports, including sales performance, forecasts, and other business metrics
- Coordinate with the crossfunctional team to align strategies
- Support the commercial organization with pharmacy requests, registrations as well as review and follow-up on order tools
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards in all operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Finance, or similar educational background
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business /commercial operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries
- Strong project management skills with experience coordinating product launches, tracking KPIs, and ensuring operational efficiency using performance tracking tools and dashboards
- Experience using interconnected enterprise systems like Veeva CRM, SAP and ideally data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and analytics
- Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects and associated budgets
- Excellent analytical skills, data management and mining experience
- Outstanding roblem-solving skills and attention to detail for managing compliance and contractual obligations
- Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English
