Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analytics & Sales Operations Specialist to join our Commercial team in Germany. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing operational processes, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and supporting overall sales excellence. Reporting to the Associate Director, Business Operations, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to strengthen business performance, streamline systems, and contribute to effective commercial execution.
This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of analytics, sales operations, and commercial strategy—ensuring our teams have the insights, tools, and processes needed to drive impact and support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct CRM analytics to deliver actionable insights into sales performance and customer interactions
- Generate Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) reports and create dashboards to support strategic decision-making and monitor market trends
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Monitor SFE key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely follow-ups and maintain progress
- Support the optimization of the CRM tools, IC tracking (eg MBOs) & Account Plan implementation as needed
- Support Associate Director, Business Operations to implement HCP Targeting & Segmentation into CRM
- Perform data quality checks and system adjustments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with Associate Director, Business Operations to prepare monthly local and international reports, including sales performance, forecasts, and other business metrics
- Support the commercial organization with pharmacy requests, registrations as well as review and follow-up on order tools
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards in all operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Finance, or similar educational background
- Background in business and commercial operations, with exposure to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries, is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good skills in balancing competing demands, ensuring timely completion of tasks without compromising quality.
- Experience using interconnected enterprise systems like Veeva CRM and SAP for reporting and analytics strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical skills, data management and mining experience
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail for managing compliance and contractual obligations
- Full professional proficiency in German and English (written and verbal)
